How to Report a Fraud Charge to PayPal and Get a Refund
If you’ve spotted a PayPal charge you don’t recognize, don’t panic — but don’t ignore it either. Acting quickly can help you secure your account and recover your money. Here’s what to do.
🚨 Step 1: Log In and Review the Transaction
Visit paypal.com or open the app.
Go to Activity and locate the suspicious transaction.
Make sure it wasn’t a delayed charge or an authorized subscription.

Click on the transaction, then select “Report a problem.”
Choose “Unauthorized activity” and follow the prompts.
